A Lusail Stadium security guard has died after falling from the FIFA World Cup 2022 venue in Qatar after Argentina’s win over Netherlands in their quarter final encounter.

Initially, John Njau Kibue, Kenyan, was said to be in a stable however critical condition, sadly, he died after three days in hospital.
Qatari organisers disclosed they “are investigating the circumstances leading to the fall as a matter of urgency”.

According to the 24-year old’s sister’s revelation to the CNN, they have not received any explanation.
Ann Wanjiru said: “We want justice. We want to know what caused his death. They have never sent us a picture to show where he fell from or given us any other information.”
