The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), is encouraging “all validly registered voters who are yet to collect their PVCs” to take advantage of the “devolution to the wards” to ensure they do so.

This is contained in a press release by the electoral body of Nigeria, titled ‘DEVOLUTION OF COLLECTION OF PERMANENT VOTERS’ CARDS (PVCs) TO REGISTRATION AREAS (ELECTORAL WARDS).’
In the press release, INEC said, that it “resolved to devolve PVC Collection to the 8,809 Registration Areas/Wards from Friday 6th to Sunday 15th January, 2023”.
Also, “after the 15th of January 2023, the exercise will revert to the Local Government Offices of the Commission until 22nd January 2023”.
INEC further said, “all those that applied for replacement of lost, damaged or defaced PVCs can collect their PVCs at the Registration Areas/Wards during this period”.

• Please, if you haven’t collected your PVC, don’t hesitate to take advantage of this opportunity to do so before it’s reverted to the Local Government Area Offices.
