Lagos City Marathon 2023 (8th Edition): Hereha Guta of Ethiopia grabs $50,000 after emerging race winner

Alemeneshi Hereha Guta of Ethiopia has won the Women’s race in the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon 2023 (8th Edition) on Saturday 4 February, 2023.

The 42km race started from the National Stadium, Surulere and finished at the Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island.

Guta who emerged winner in the Women’s race this year, finished in second place in last year’s edition.

She is trailed by Urisa Kebene Chala, another Ethiopian who emerged second and Naomi Maiyo of Kenya who finished third.
