Photos 👇 Peter Obi, 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) has met with the head of the African Union (AU) Observer Team, former President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta; and the Head of the ECOWAS Observer Team, former President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma, for “election-related consultations”.
The former Governor of Anambra State came third in the recently conducted 2023 Presidential election which took place on Saturday 25 February, 2023.
The 2023 Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emerged winner of the tightly-contested 2023 Presidential election, beating Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP); Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP); Rabiu Kwakwanso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP); alongside Presidential candidates of other Political Parties.
Tinubu emerged Nigeria’s President-elect after the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, declared him winner of the 2023 Presidential election.
Peter Obi said: “As part of an ongoing election-related consultations, I met with the head of African Union Observer team, President Uhuru Kenyatta, and the head of ECOWAS Observer team, President Ernest Bai Koroma.”
