Video 👇 2023 Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has “led a peaceful protest” on Monday 6 March, 2023 to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Headquarters in Abuja.
Atiku led the “peaceful protest over the “sham election of February 25”.
Saturday 25 February, 2023 was the day the 2023 Presidential and National Assembly elections were conducted.
The 2023 Presidential election produced Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the 2023 Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as winner and President-Elect of Nigeria.
Tinubu was declared winner of the 2023 Presidential election by the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, however, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the PDP described the February 25 elections as “sham”.
The former Vice President of Nigeria also met with a delegation of the Commonwealth Observer Mission to Nigeria’s 2023 Elections led by Thabo Mbeki, former President of South Africa.
A meeting he described as “frank and fruitful”.
Atiku said: “I led a peaceful protest to the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, in Abuja over the sham election of February 25. There will be no letting up until the fraud is reversed.
“I met with a delegation of the Commonwealth Observation Mission to Nigeria’s 2023 election, led by former South African President Thabo Mbeki. It was a frank and fruitful meeting.”
