Manchester United bounced back from their embarrassing defeat to Liverpool by taking full control of their Europa League tie with Real Betis.

Just four days after the Red Devils’ 7-0 humiliation against their rivals, Erik ten Hag’s side dished out a thrashing of their own as they ran out 4-1 victors.

Leicester City loanee Ayoze Perez had stunned Old Trafford by cancelling out Marcus Rashford’s early strike to sent Betis into the break level.

But United – unlike their performance at Anfield – emerged much the better of the two in the second-half with goals from Antony, Bruno Fernandes and Wout Weghorst all-but securing United’s passage into the quarter-finals.TalkSport
