Some infrastructure update has been disclosed by the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing on the ongoing Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Project.

The “project will be completed by April 30, 2023”, the Ministry disclosed.
It added, the project is currently on hold to allow the government of Oyo State to “complete some drainage work that section”.
The Federal Ministry of Works and Housing disclosed: “The Lagos—Ibadan Expressway will be completed by April 30, 2023 and opened to traffic. About 10km of the project (around KM17—KM27, just outside Ibadan) is however on hold to allow Oyo State Government to complete some ongoing drainage work being done on that section.”
