Sudan Unrest: ‘We have well over 3 million resident there’ – Abike Dabiri-Erewa

Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has disclosed, there are “well more than 3 million” Nigerians living in Sudan.

Sudan is currently experiencing a heavy fighting between the Army of Sudan and the paramilitary force.

This sad occurrence has led to the death of hundreds with several others seriously injured.

Nigerians are still trapped in Sudan, however, the Nigerian government has assured they will all be evacuated safely back to the country.

A conversation on Twitter between a Twitter user and Abike Dabiri-Erewa, where the Twitter user asked “Nigerian study in sudan,how on earth is this possible”.

She answered, “the richest person in Sudan is a Nigerian”.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa quoted the tweet and commented: “We have well over 3 million resident there. Even more , but let me just put it at that estimate. The richest person in Sudan is a Nigerian.”
