Revival – A Ministry of the Holy Spirit |
Text: Romans 8:26-27 – “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”
Prayer is very essential in every area of our lives. When we pray, we don’t know how to present our requests to God the right way, however, the Spirit intercedes for us before God Almighty.
Introduction: Untoward occurrences are on the increase by the day. It has become really vivid from the things that are happening around the world that we are already in the End Times.
There is the need for God’s intervention to stem the tide of evil/wrongdoing, and this can only happen when there is Revival.
For Divine Revival to come, we need to ask for it from God through prayer. Without the spirit of prayer, spiritual Revival looks like an illusion.
Christians look feeble today because of lack of the spirit of prayer (prayerlessness).
