According to a twitterer ‘A Distinguished Field Marshal ⚡’, a Cyber Security Expert, who was a “witness” during cross-examination at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal at the Court of Appeal on Thursday 22 June, 2023, replied INEC’s Lawyer, “you’re wrong, it is a requirement”.

The Cyber Security Expert gave the reply when asked by INEC’s Lawyer “about the IS0 27001 certification standard and asserted that ISO certification is not a statutory requirement for organizations like INEC”.
