The Global Financing Pact Summit which held in Paris, France and hosted by President Emmanuel Macron of France was attended by so many world leaders and officials.
President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; President of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB), Akinwunmi Adesina; alongside other Heads of State, attended the event.
Okonjo-Iweala has been receiving “interesting attacks from both sides” because she “started posting pictures of yourself and other Presidents…leaving your President out of the pictures until we picked it”, a twitterer replied.
The WTO DG said: “Nigerians please relax! Re Paris, Interesting attacks from both sides. Sadly shows the depth of polarization in our society. I post photos in the order received by accompanying staff or colleagues. Reading more into it is unwarranted. Let’s unite to build our country not attack!”
