Presidential Election Tribunal: ‘Our Constitution was brazenly and deliberately turned upside down by those who lack a sense of history’ – Dele Momodu

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) resumed sitting today, Wednesday 6 September, 2023 to deliver its final verdict on the Petitions filed before it by the Labour Party (LP), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), alongside other Political Parties, challenging Tinubu’s victory at the 2023 Presidential Election conducted on Saturday 25 February, 2023.

Dele Momodu said, “I watched in utter amazement how our Constitution was brazenly and deliberately turned upside.”

The final judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) delivered on Wednesday 6 September, 2023 affirmed Tinubu’s election as President of Nigeria.

Momodu said: “I watched in utter amazement and wonderment how our Constitution was brazenly and deliberately turned upside down by those who lack a sense of history and care less about the verdict of history… What all men and women of good conscience should have for them is pity and not anger… NIGERIA SHALL BE FREE…”
