With this result, Chelsea are through to the fourth round of the tournament.
Nicolas Jackson fired Mauricio Pochettino’s side to the next round of the EFL Cup 2023/24 with his goal in the 51st minute.
The victory helped lower some of the pressure on Argentine manager, Mauricio Pochettino, following a difficult start in the Premier League 2023/24.
