He described Senator Abdul Azeez Yar’adua as “one of the brightest and most respected members of the Nigerian Senate and I have immense respect for him”.
Fani-Kayode said: “It was an honor and privilege to receive my friend and distinguished brother Senator Abdul Azeez Yar’adua together with our brother Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Gana in my Abuja home yesterday evening.
“Abdul, who is the younger brother of the late General Shehu Musa Yar’adua and also brother to our late President, Umaru Musa Yar’adua, is one of the brightest and most respected members of the Nigerian Senate and I have immense respect for him.
“We had a wonderful evening in which we discussed crucial national issues.
“Thanks for coming my brother.
“May God guide and be with you and yours now and always.”
