Birmingham City Football Club has sacked manager Wayne Rooney after just fifteen (15) games in charge.

38-year old Rooney was appointed on 11 October, 2023 following the dismissal of John Eustace, with Blues sixth in the table.
Since then, Birmingham City has fallen to 20th on the table, with Monday’s 3-0 loss to Leeds United being their latest defeat of his 15-game tenure.
Steve Spooner, professional development coach, will take interim charge of the club.
