The Super Eagles of Nigeria emerged victorious in the encounter against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon at Stade Felix Houphouët-Boigny, Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
Forward, Ademola Lookman, netted both goals in the 36th and 90th minutes.
Gyan wrote: “Osimhen plays with passion. That’s what every country wants their players to do.”
Nigeria will face Angola in the quarter finals of the tournament.
Angola defeated Namibia 3-0 to clinch a spot in the quarter finals.
