AFCON 2023: Nigeria V Angola – ‘We’ll have to be even better if we want to win’ – Jose Peseiro

Head Coach of Nigerian National Football Team, Jose Peseiro, said, the Super Eagles defeated Cameroon excellently, and “without conceding a goal”, however, against Angola, he said, “we’ll have to be even better if we want to win a place in the semi-finals”.

Nigeria and Angola will do battle for a place in the semi finals of the 2023 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) on Friday 2 February, 2024 at Stade Felix Houphouët-Boigny, Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Coach Peseiro said: “Yesterday against Cameroon we got an excellent win,in yet another game without conceding a goal and where our boys were huge.Great spirit and humility!Once again they did Nigeria proud.Friday against Angola we’ll have to be even better if we want to win a place in the semi-finals.”
