The dualisation of section 2 of the 12.5 km Challenge-Odo Ona Elewe-Elebu-Apata Road has been completed.

Section 1 was for the repairs of the defective portions of the Challenge-Odo Ona Elewe-Elebu-Apata Road.
Both sections are now completed.
The contract was awarded to Kopek Construction Ltd for both sections of the Challenge-Odo Ona Elewe-Elebu-Apata Road Road by the Oyo State Government.

The Challenge-Odo Ona Elewe-Elebu-Apata Road is already addressing the traffic gridlock in the Challenge-Apata axis of Ibadan and will be commissioned on Friday, 16 February 2024.
