In connection with the murders of South African rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as, AKA, alongside his close friend, celebrity chef and entrepreneur Tebello “Tibz” Motshoane, six (6) suspects have been arrested.

Both were shot and killed outside a restaurant in Durban a year ago – the unfortunate incident shocked the entire South Africa.
AKA, in his career, had some hit tracks including with Nigerian Afrobeats Megastar, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as, Burna Boy.
All suspects are below the age of 36 and are expected to appear in court on Thursday.
KwaZulu-Natal provincial police commissioner, Lt Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, said in a press statement on the night of Tuesday: “It was clear that AKA was monitored from the airport and Tibz was not the intended target in the murder on Florida Road in Durban.
“We know they were paid for this.”
