Chelsea Football Club has announced Brazilian defender, Thiago Silva, “will depart the Blues”.

Silva has fielded for Chelsea for “nearly four years”, and recorded “over 150 games” for the Blues.
Chelsea announced: “‘Chelsea Football Club has completed the signing of one of the big names in world football with @TSilva3 joining on a one-year contract, with the club having the option of a further 12 months,’ our official website wrote to announce the Brazilian’s arrival in August 2020.
“Nearly four years later, and with over 150 games under his belt, Thiago will depart the Blues.
“He won the Champions League in his first season in England. He played for the badge every time he crossed the white line. But ultimately, he forged a bond with Chelsea fans that is guaranteed to last a lifetime.
“Thank you for everything, El Monstro.”
