Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has disclosed, “Canada, the US and Finland have signed a new polar partnership to build more icebreakers”.

He further disclosed, “arctic ice is melting making our waters easier to navigate, for us and our adversaries”.
The three Leaders made the partnership at the NATO Summit in Washington, United States (US); the event started on Tuesday 9 July and will end today, Thursday 11 July, 2024.
According to Canadian PM, Trudeau: “Arctic ice is melting — and it’s making our waters easier to navigate, for us and our adversaries. So, Canada, the U.S., and Finland have signed a new polar partnership to build more icebreakers, preserve peace and stability, and strengthen @NATO’s Arctic presence, together.”
