The United Kingdom (UK) has come out to strongly criticize the rocket attack in Golan Heights “that has tragically claimed at least 12 lives”.

The rocket strike hit a football playground where Israeli children were playing soccer on Saturday 27 July, 2024.
The UK, through the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, David Lammy, said: “The UK condemns the strike in Golan Heights that has tragically claimed at least 12 lives.
We are deeply concerned about the risk of further escalation and destabilisation.
We have been clear Hizballah must cease their attacks.”
