The record producer expressed his gratitude to Ethiopians for the love and support following the success of his performance.
He wrote, “the love was amazing.”
The Ethiopian Calendar
The Ethiopian Calendar is the official state civil calendar of Ethiopia and serves as an unofficial customary cultural calendar in Eritrea, and among Ethiopians and Eritreans in the diaspora.
It has a gap of seven to eight years between the Ethiopian and Gregorian calendars (used in most parts of the world).
The Ethiopian New Year is called Kudus Yohannes; It occurs on 11 September in the Gregorian calendar; except for the year preceding a leap year, when it occurs on 12 September.
In his gratitude to Ethiopians, Davido wrote: “Ethiopia ! The Energy was amazing ! Can’t wait to be back ! The love was over felt !! Melkam Addis Amet.”
