Teachers are the unsung architects of our minds. They shape our thinking, mould our beliefs, and ignite the curiosity within us. Their influence is profound, yet often overlooked.
I recall one of my secondary school teachers who, in his quiet, unassuming way, left an indelible mark on my life. His name escapes me now, but I remember a particular phrase he often used: “To serve mankind is to serve oneself.” This resonated deeply with me—a young student seeking purpose and meaning. It taught me that the greatest fulfillment comes not from personal gain, but from contributing to something larger than oneself.
Today, let us all take a moment in our respective homes to honour the teachers who have guided us, inspired us, and shaped us into the individuals we are today.
