Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa, has expressed extreme disappointment at the “disgraceful behaviour” from the Libyan government to Nigeria players and officials at an airport in Libya.

This is happening ahead of the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) 2025 second leg qualifier between Libya and Nigeria on Tuesday 15 October, 2024 in Benghazi, Libya.
The Super Eagles have been left stranded t the airport in Libya “with no food no wifi”, as disclosed by striker, Victor Boniface.
Musa, who fields for Kano Pillars currently, wrote: “I’m extremely disappointed by the unjust treatment of the Super Eagles, the NFF officials, as well as dignitaries in Libya.
This is not sportsmanship, and I want the football governing body, @CAF_Online to intervene and investigate this incident.
I stand with the players in this difficult time.”
Nigeria captain, William Troost-Ekong, has said, “we will not play this game.”
