President of the United States (US), Joe Biden, has assured Americans of a “peaceful transfer of power” next year.

The US President said, “on January 20th, we will have a peaceful transfer of power in America.”
Biden’s statement is coming following the conclusion of the US Presidential Election 2024 which saw Donald Trump, 2024 Presidential candidate of the Republican Party, emerge President-Elect of the US.
Trump defeated Kamala Harris, 2024 Presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, to become the 47th President of the US.
Via a video, in his address to Americans, President Biden said, “the American Electoral System is honest, fair and transparent.”
Biden added: “setbacks are unavoidable, but giving up is unforgivable.”
