Newly promoted Kun Khalifat FC has sent a message of what it plans to achieve in the new Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season which kicks off in August.
Kun Khalifat FC, based in Owerri, Imo State, gained promotion into Nigerian top tier football alongside three (3) other clubs following their victory in Matchday 3 of the NNL Super 8 play-offs.
The former Nigeria National League (NNL) Club said, “we will fight and make names for ourselves in the forthcoming NPFL 2025/26.”

“We are nothing but just young Nigerian youths that wants to win like other successful clubs/players
“We believe our dreams and God give talents will take us places as we don’t have anybody that can do it for us but God.
“When we played NLO nobody believed in us. When we played NNL nobody believed in us. When we played Super 8 nobody ever believed among the promoted 4
“We are not looking at the past history! We are not feeling comfortable anytime soon! We are not thinking we have arrived. It’s not yet UHURU
“We pray to finish the season the same way we approached every game like finals in NNL. We are still in line with the promise we made to IMOLITES and or dear FANS
“We will fight and make names for ourselves in the forthcoming NPFL 2025/26.
“We believe God will never let our dreams and efforts waste. We pray God crown our efforts with glory.
