Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Israel Katz, has expressed gratitude to the United States (US) for “steadfast support for Israel since the beginning of the war.”

Israel is fighting a multi-front “war” against Hamas in Gaza, and Hezbollah in Lebanon; and the fighting continues to intensify.
Katz also thanked US Secretary of Defense, Lloyd J. Austin for condemning the recent attack on Israeli citizens in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
According to Katz: “I had my first conversation with U.S. @SecDef Lloyd Austin. I thanked him for the U.S. steadfast support for Israel since the beginning of the war, its commitment to our joint efforts to bring all hostages home, and for maintaining our strategic ties against the threats posed by Iran and its proxies.
I expressed my gratitude for Secretary Austin’s condemnation of the severe attacks on Jews in Amsterdam and his offer to assist if needed.
I am confident we will meet soon in Israel.”
