President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent his congratulations to the Super Falcons of Nigeria after reaching the final of the Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
Nigeria defeated South Africa 2-1 in the seminfinal encounter in Casablanca on Tuesday evening.
The President said, “don’t stop until you bring the trophy home” as he described the Super Falcons’ triumph as “superlative and magnificent”.
President Tinubu wrote on X: “Well deserved!

In its post-defeat comments, the Banyana Banyana wrote: “It ends with a loss against Nigeria… not the result we expected.”
Following her beautiful performance for the Super Falcons, Atletico Madrid forward, Rasheedat Ajibade, clinched the Woman Of The Match award.
The Nigeria Captain inspired the Super Falcons to victory with her 44th minute opener.
