The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has impounded an overloaded vehicle on Sunday 20 July, 2025 in Zamfara State.
FRSC cautioned, when a vehicle is overloaded with “either people, goods and animals or the combination” above the the weight approved is “dangerous and should be avoided”.
The FRSC posted on X: “This vehicle, just like others of it’s kind was impounded today 20 July, 2025 at railway crossing in Tsafe in Zamfara State.
“Overloading a vehicle with either people, goods and animals or the combination of the aforementioned, over the approved weight distribution limit of the vehicle is dangerous and should be avoided.
“Be a part of this growing advocacy, sensitisation and enforcement against the life sniffing monster of overloading of vehicles by discouraging perpetrators and reporting them to FRSC patrol teams on the highways.”
