Former US President, Barack Obama, alongside his wife, Michelle Obama, have sent their prayers and condolences to everyone who is mourning following the aircraft collision which happened at Ronald Reagan National Airport on Wednesday evening.

Obama expressed his heart break “for the families who lost loved ones in the tragic plane and helicopter crash at DCA.”
An American Airlines passenger plane collided with an Army Black Hawk Helicopter at the Potomac River near the Reagan Airport in Washington DC.
Twenty-eight (28) bodies have been recovered from the Rivers so far, with pieces of the plane seen in the waters.
In his condolence message, Obama wrote: “Our hearts break for the families who lost loved ones in the tragic plane and helicopter crash at DCA. Michelle and I send our prayers and condolences to everyone who is mourning today, and we’re grateful to the first responders who are doing everything they can to help under extremely difficult circumstances.”
