President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Akinwumi Adesina, has said his prayers for former President, Muhammadu Buhari, who is ill.
The AfDB President prayed “strong and speedy recovery” for the former Nigerian Leader.
He said, he is looking forward to seeing Buhari soon “in good health and vitality”.
Adesina wrote on X: “I wish H.E. former President Muhammadu Buhari @MBuhari a good, strong and speedy recovery. You are in my thoughts and prayers, with much love and all good wishes. Looking forward to seeing you again soon Sir in great health and vitality.”
Bashir Ahmad, who served as Special Adviser to the former President, earlier tweeted: “It is true that former President Buhari is unwell and is currently receiving medical attention.
“However, contrary to the exaggerated claims circulating in the media, he is stable and responding well to treatment and we are optimistic about his full recovery.”
