Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, alongside President Bola Tinubu, and his fellow Governors, had a bilateral meeting with Lula Da Silva, President of Brazil.
At the meeting, “strengthening cooperation” between both countries was discussed.
Sanwo-Olu travelled with the President to Rio De Janeiro in Brazil for the 17th BRICS Summit.
Governor Sanwo-Olu wrote on X: “Today in Rio, I joined His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a bilateral meeting with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil.
“Alongside a few of my fellow governors and ministers from the Federal Executive Council, we met at the Copacabana Forte for discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation and deepening the relationship between our two nations.”
