President Bola Tinubu has signed four (4) fiscal reform bills into law today, Thursday 26 June, 2025.
The President had earlier made known, he will sign the bills into law, which will usher in a “bold new era of economic governance in our country.”
President Tinubu posted on X: “I have just signed into Law, the four fiscal reforms bills.
“It is a NEW DAWN for Nigeria!”
Prior to signing the bills into law, the President said, “for too long, Nigeria’s tax system has been a patchwork”, adding, it has “shielded inefficiency and weighed down the vulnerable”.
President Tinubu concluded by declaring Nigeria officially open for business, and assured, this time, every one will have a “fair shot”.
