German Bundesliga outfit, Bayern Munich, have made known that, Galatasaray-bound German midfielder, Leroy Sane, will feature for the Bavarians at the FIFA Club World Cup until June 30 when his contract with the Club expires.
Sane will become a full player of Turkish Süper Lig Club, Galatasaray, from July 1, 2025 after the Yellow-Reds announced it has reached an agreement with the player.
Eberl said, Bayern Munich has always negotiated with Sane transparently and openly.
Bayern Munich Board Member for Sport, Eberl, said: “If the player then gets another offer and accepts it, that’s absolutely normal. It’s legitimate, and the fact that there’s no resentment is also shown by the joint decision that he’ll still be here for the group games and, possibly, the round of 16 at the Club World Cup.”
Leroy Sane will field with Bayern Munich for the group matches against Auckland City (15 June), Boca Juniors (21 June) and Benfica (24 June).
Bavarians, who arrived late (on Thursday evening and Friday) to camp in Orlando after representing their countries during the international break, will not feature for the club in Sunday’s clash against Auckland City, Eberl said.
