“I shared with the audience that Enugu State is ready for business. Our state’s rich history, which gained prominence 115 years ago with the discovery of coal, is a foundation we honour. However, we are focused on reinventing Enugu into a modern socio-economic hub.
With a bold vision to grow our GDP from $4.4 billion to at least $30 billion within the next 4–8 years, we have redefined governance to create an investment-friendly climate. Through open governance, we are dismantling red tape, digitizing land administration and revenue collection processes, and de-risking investments with strong legal backing.
Enugu’s appeal lies not just in its economic potential but in its security, robust infrastructure development, and transformation across sectors like education, health, water, and roads. These efforts reflect our commitment to providing a safe and enabling environment for private capital to thrive.
As bilateral relations between Nigeria and Germany deepen, I invite German investors and businesses to explore the vast opportunities Enugu offers. Our government is fully committed to giving maximum support to investors, ensuring that their ventures in Enugu succeed and thrive.”
