Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umaru Radda, has approved the ₦70,000 new minimum wage following a thorough and successful negotiation.

According to Governor Radda: “Good morning Katsinawa, following a thorough and successful negotiation regarding the New National Minimum Wage, I am pleased to announce the approval of the N70,000 New Minimum Wage. This will be accompanied by the necessary adjustment of salaries for employees across all sectors, including state, Local Government, and Local Education Authority, starting from December 2024.
I expressed my heartfelt gratitude to the civil servants for their unwavering patience and understanding. I encourage you to embrace a culture rooted in hard work, honesty, and productivity, recognizing the important role each of them plays in our collective efforts.”
