On Monday night, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, hosted Labour Party (LP) Presidential flag bearer Peter Obi, former Cross River State Governor Donald Duke, former Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko among other top Politicians in the country.

Others present at Gov. Wike’s private residence in the city of Port Harcourt include, Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, as well as former Governor of Gombe State Ibrahim Dankwambo.
Former Ondo State Governor Mimiko tweeted how “nice to share some time with them”, however, he didn’t disclosed the reason(s) for the meeting.

Some reports claim the meeting was to gather support for the LP Presidential candidate Peter Obi for the 2023 Elections.
Few days ago, Obi had met with Mimiko but the aim(s) of the meeting was/were not made known to the public.
