Englishman, Phil Foden, has signed a new four-year contract with Premier League Outfit, Manchester City.
The deal will keep the attacking midfielder at Etihad Stadium until 2030.
Foden’s relationship with Manchester City began when he was nine (9) years old in the Club’s Academy; a lifelong fan of the Cityzens, the 26-year old will continue his association with the Club after putting pen to paper on Wednesday.
He has gone ahead to emerge one of the most decorated players in the history of the Club since making his first team debut under Spanish head coach, Pep Guardiola, in 2017.
The England player has carted a total of twenty (20) major honours with Manchester City which includes: six Premier League titles, five League Cups, three FA Cups, three Community Shields and a Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
Also, he has won individual accolades – the 2023/24 PFA Player of the Year, FWA Footballer of the Year and Premier League Player of the Season.
He emerged just the sixth player to reach 100 goal contributions for the Cityzens.
Featuring for City is “all I’ve ever wanted to do”, he told the Club’s official website.
After signing his contract extension with City, Foden said: “Committing my future to City means everything to me.
“Playing for this Club is all I’ve ever wanted to do and it’s always an honour to wear the shirt
“I can only thank the Club, staff, team-mates and fans who continue to put their faith in me and trust that I give everything I can for City and I hope I’ll be able to repay you for years to come.

Enzo Maresca takes over as Manchester City manager from Pep Guardiola. The Spaniard parted ways with the Cityzens after ten (10) years at Etihad.
