Thanks to a strong defensive performance, Arsenal have now reached 500 Premier League clean sheets, however, Manchester United still leads the chart.
The Gunners clinched the feat following their slim 1-0 victory over Burnley in the Premier League 2025/26 match at Emirates Stadium on Monday 18 May, 2026.
The outcome was Arsenal’s fourth League win in a row, and it handed the North London Club crucial three (3) points which they needed to keep their Premier League title chase alive.
Arsenal have recorded clean sheets in all of those four (4) recent matches to place them very close to their first Premier League title in twenty-two (22) years.
Only two other teams have recorded more clean sheets than Arsenal, and the Gunners have been chasing these two (2) teams at the top of the list in recent campaigns.
After reaching 500 clean sheets in the Premier League, Arsenal wrote: “Hitting another big defensive milestone”.
