Jake Paul, American Youtuber-turned-boxer, made known to his fans and supporters, that, he has undergone a successful and “smooth” surgery to his broken jawline.
Paul, who has announced, he would “rest, recover and return to cruiserweight” after suffering a heavy defeat in the fight against Anthony Joshua, got his jawline broken in two different places following series of blows from the Brit.
The fight held in Miami, United States (US) and only lasted for six (6) rounds after a bone-breaking right hand hit Paul’s face.
The American expressed his gratitude to the team at the Miami University Hospital, who conducted the surgery on his jaw.
He confessed, he suffered a “lot of pain and stiffness”; the influencer will only feed on liquids for the seven (7) days.
Paul wrote on X: “Just got out of surgery. Everything went smooth. Thanks for all the love. Lots of pain and stiffness. Gotta eat liquids for 7 days
“S/o to the amazing team at Miami University hospital. Everyone was so gracious and caring.”
Jake Paul made his professional boxing debut in 2020.
He said: “We will heal the broken jaw, come back and fight people my weight. I’m going for the cruiserweight world title.
“I’m going to take a little break. I’ve been going hard for six years.”
