President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Nigeria for his 2025 annual leave.
This is coming after few days the President returned to the country from his two-nation visit to Japan and Brazil.
In Japan, President Tinubu participated in the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) where he urged Nigerians living in the Asian country to come home and “build” the country.
In Brazil, President Tinubu said, his conversations with the President Lula Da Silva “carried purpose and delivered action”.
President Tinubu’s 2025 annual leave was made known via a State House Press Release signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Thursday 4 September, 2025.
The Nigerian Leader will begin his working vacation in Europe, in France and the United Kingdom (UK), which will last for ten (10) days.
The State House Press Release reads: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today, September 4, to commence a working vacation in Europe, as part of his 2025 annual leave.
“The vacation will last 10 working days.
“President Tinubu will spend the period between France and the UK and then return to the country.”
