ECOWAS At 50: Bloc to hold Extraordinary Session on the withdrawal of Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali

Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) announced, it will hold an Extraordinary Session on the withdrawal of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger in Accra, Capital of Ghana.

This is coming as the Bloc is set to conduct launch ceremony of its 50th anniversary.

ECOWAS was established on 28 May, 1975 with its Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria, and President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as its Chairman.
