A breakdown of the recently passed budget by the National Assembly by President Bola Tinubu Media Centre, reveals, “Capital Expenditure makes up 43.65% at N23.9trn”, saying, it is “the highest ever in the history of Nigeria”.
According to PBAT Media Centre: “A breakdown of the recently passed budget by the National Assembly which is expected to be transmitted to President Tinubu soon indicates the massive improvement in our fiscal situation owing to the ongoing reforms in the country
- Capital Expenditure makes up 43.65% at N23.9trn. The highest ever in the history of Nigeria.
- Debt service-Budget ratio of 26% which signifies a massive improvement in our debt management process and a shift away from the norm.
- Recurrent expenditure of 24.85% at N13.64trn and
- Statutory transfer of N3.645trn which makes up 6.64%.”
