2023 Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore exclaimed, “Shame!” after Anthony Joshua visited President Tinubu and Governor Sanwo-Olu.

British professional heavyweight boxer, Anthony Joshua, visited President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Lagos residence in Ikoyi where the former Champion presented an autographed boxing glove to the President.
Also, Joshua visited Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at the Lagos House, Marina. The boxer received some gifts from the Governor.
Sowore expressed his disgust following the visits by the Brit, saying, Joshua “is always genuflecting on the altars of evil Nigerian leaders.”
Sowore wrote: “And @anthonyjoshua is always genuflecting on the altars of evil Nigerian leaders as if his boxing career depended on it. Shame!”
