Atalanta have taken the top spot after a 2-1 win over AC Milan in the Serie A match on Friday 6 December, 2024 at Gewiss Stadium, thanks to a late winner from Nigerian sharpshooter, Ademola Lookman.

The hosts took the lead through Charles De Ketelaere in the 12th minute, however, ten (10) minutes later, the Rossoneri levelled through Alvaro Morata, perfectly converting Rafael Leao’s assist.
In the 87th minute, Lookman’s header sealed victory for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side and claimed their ninth successive Serie A win and go two points clear of Napoli at the league summit.
On the other side, Inter defeated Parma 3-1.
