President of Faso, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, has inaugurated the Faso Tomato Company (SOFATO) in Yako which “specializes in the processing and marketing of tomato-derived products”.

Capt. Traore believes “Burkina Faso has the human resources and potential necessary to ensure the well-being of its population and its victorious march towards a better tomorrow.”
According to Captain Ibrahim Traore: “After the tomato processing plant in Bobo-Dioulasso on November 30, this morning I inaugurated the plant of the Faso Tomato Company (SOFATO) in Yako, which also specializes in the processing and marketing of tomato-derived products.
Supported by the Cooperative Society with Board of Directors (SCOOP-CA) “Building the Future”, this factory is the fruit of popular shareholding and a testament to the determination of the Burkinabe people to take their destiny into their own hands.
I firmly believe that Burkina Faso has the human resources and potential necessary to ensure the well-being of its population and its victorious march towards a better tomorrow.
Together, let’s build a sovereign, free and prosperous country!”
Après l’usine de transformation de tomate de Bobo-Dioulasso le 30 novembre dernier, j’ai inauguré ce matin l’usine de la Société Faso tomates (SOFATO) de Yako, spécialisée également dans la transformation et la commercialisation des produits dérivés de la tomate.
