At his press conference ahead of the match on Saturday evening, Guardiola said:
On Injury Updates…
“John [Stones] trained good, Manu [Akanji] trained good. Nathan [Ake] is coming back to training so we didn’t have any centre-backs, and now we have three. Ruben [Dias] is out but hopefully back soon.”
On Kovacic Injury…
“It will be a while [until he’s back]. Three weeks or a month.”
On assistants…
“From day one, I felt incredible love and respect with all my assistants and coaches here. If I did not feel that I wouldn’t be here.”
