Japan and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) have joined forces to improve access to information in South Sudan.

UNESCO said, the move will “support Freedom of expression and safety of journalists.”

According to UNESCO: “#Japan and 

@UNESCO join forces to improve access to information in South Sudan. 


The project will support a public broadcaster and promote #FreedomOfExpression and safety of #Journalists, addressing misinformation and hate speech along the electoral cycle.”
