ICC’s decision to issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant ‘binding on all EU member States’

High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security, Josep Borrell, has responded to the decision by ICC to issue arrest warrants for Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, Former Israeli Minister of Defence, Yoav Gallant, and Hamas leader Deif.

Borrell said, International Criminal Court (ICC) “decisions are binding on all States party to the Rome Statute, which includes all EU Member States.”

In his reaction, Borrell said: “I take note of the decision of the @IntlCrimCourt to issue arrest warrants for Israel PM Netanyahu, former Minister Gallant, and Hamas leader Deif. 


These decisions are binding on all States party to the Rome Statute, which includes all EU Member States.”
